| Created in the year 2000, The CLAY Awards (County's Local Athletes of the Year), spanned for 6 six more years until 2006. Created by Shawn P. Leary and co-produced by Darren G. Leary, the CLAY Awards became the annual school year-end event to recognize the top high school and collegiate athletes. Held live and mirroring the ESPY's, the CLAY Awards became a highly coveted award for the student athletes to include on their resume. In its second year, the brothers had help from Clearview's John Hatchell and Paulsboro's Tom Curl to help promote the show. |
